Joshua turn 14 and its a Salsational moment

Excuse the world play but it helps set the tone for the slightly awkward but in the end awesome birthday experience.
Had to at least try to embarass Yasha on his 14th bday, first with a salsa lesson and then at Club 1968 where a beautiful waitress asked him to dance, a couple rights of passage ticked ;)

In the end not too cringy as it turns out he likes to dance and we will be looking for another lesson soon if not in person than on you tube ... so watch out girls !

David took him windsurfing too as his choice activity and otherwise we just walked the streets , ate some OK food and had some tension to dispel too, so the evening of salsa and tequila (just me and D on that sauce) was just what the doctor ordered...
It was also day before David's departure , so combined with a birthday without the usual cake and prezzies palava and his nervousness of leaving us - it was an emotional day

Was great to skype with all the family , starting with my parents from Dominican Republic..

A big happy birthday to Yasha , the beginning of a new cycle with his birthday, with our solo travel beginning and the lunar eclipse bringing forth a cycle of Capricorn and Cancer (me and Yasha ! )
The seeds were planted just after he turned 12 in 2017 when he chose to do a Bar Mitzvah, then my dad chose to do his too ,  opening up a beautiful path of self enquiry for our family , which took us to Egypt then through the bar mitzvah process and now here we are, in the eternal Now with Joshua as a young man setting the tone and pace of his own life ,  co-creating his own reality with his guardians and his spirit...

Is his human conscience of aware of this yet ? Does it matter?

For now we are celebrating as it all unfolds !!
