Super Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse
We moon gazed for over 4 hours, first as it lit up the tropical sky, then the slow procession from black outline to full shadow to deep red
We got lost in the subtle colours and the shadow play and the star arena .
We decided to say a prayer at 11.11pm and that moment it began bleeding red and then bruising purple
We sat by the fire looking up and when our necks hurt too much we lay on deck chairs by the natural pool with the sound of running water
Joshua spoke of all the things he saw in the moon and I enjoyed a full auroric light play and light code transmission
I believe thats whats happening when I sun and moon gaze and have been filling my phone with lightplay captures , an entire series unfolding soon to be shared
We made friends with the young couple who volunteer here at Yira Eco hotel in Tayrona - he's from Barcelona she's from Toronto and they have just recently escaped the urban grind to connect fully with nature , a brave and wise move made young ... in 5 days will be their first plant medicine journey - a mix of jaga and ayuasca, theres a strong tradition here as it grows in southern Columbia
Im a little tempted, certainly to meet their Taita (shaman) but I don't feel Joshua is ready...
speaking of shamans today we rode on horseback to the top of the mountain we are staying on where we paid a visit to a small Kogi village
i recognised them as Kogi by the white costume and the hats , from a documentary called Aluna - we watched a year ago about the Kogi of Columbia , their quest to unite their lands by a golden thread
an honour to visit and no idea we would be in columbia so soon after seeing the film
this particular village is evangelised so no mammi , a pastor instead ! Joshua did a good job translating my difficult questions posed to their appointed 'guide' of the tribe - while others stood off in the distance , not interested in engaging
their cultural traditions and relationship to nature stayed in tact but their creation story and belief system they traded in for the New Testament... more to investigate here as i've heard its caused internal conflict amongst the Kogi , i have no judgement just curiosity
to me the golden thread connects all practices that lead to Self Realisation
Will 2019 bring Divine Order ? if it does, it begins inside each one of us
