Beautiful Belize 5-15 Feb19

Loading up on pics for now to add words later
we spent time in 2 jungle lodges slowing the pace and spreading out into our own rooms
especially at Suncreek Lodge where we could cook and take the bus to town

Southern Belize is so laid back with a mix of Creole, Caribbean,  and Mayan cultures
We didn't dig up a lot of history or learn all that much but we did feel the energy of the place and took some time to process and do some writing and schoolwork

Some adventures were had , chosen if they were local so we could get into a vague routine for a bit...

Tomorrow we head to Indigineous Immersive experience at Tribal Gathering , an anchor point midway into our journey.   Off line and off grid, beach glamping.
